All programs have built in assessment criteria which individuals are required to meet for successful graduation. You may ask…is it necessary for people wishing to pursue a career or work in the performing arts industry to undertake training or coaching? Absolutely not! If you have the skills and are good enough then you may well breakthrough and succeed under your own steam. Having said that, there are clear benefits from learning and honing your craft from seasoned experts. Even the best in their chosen field still have coaches to enable continual improvement. Our desire is to get as many people into performing opportunities as possible which is why FRM & V Management has prevailed for so long, watching many agencies come and go.
The bottom line is that the better you are in front of the camera, the greater chance you have of success in a tough and competitive field. There are many places that you may seek to hone your craft & skills through, including student films, theatre, plays, universities, colleges and private tuition. We recommend you explore and get involved in as many areas as possible, be cautious of voluntary photo shoots to ensure that your image isn’t used beyond your knowledge or control. Your image is ‘everything’, protect it at all costs!
You don’t have to be interested in performing arts or modelling to enrol in the Academy. Many of our program graduates are purely interested in self-development such as improving confidence, presentation skills and style.
